Katie Sacra

Following her admission to the State Bar of Texas, Ms. Sacra completed her judicial clerkship with Honorable John Coselli, Jr. of the 125th Civil District Court in Harris County, Houston, TX. She then continued her legal career as an assistant city attorney with the City of Houston where she tried over 60 jury trials and 75 bench trials. Following her position with the City, Ms. Sacra joined a defense firm in Austin and broadened her practice to include representation of insurance carriers and political subdivisions in workers' compensation and employment law matters. She maintains an active practice in Texas state district courts and at all the Texas field offices of the Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers' Compensation.


Katie Sacra received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Texas A&M University in 2002. She subsequently attended St. Mary's School of Law where she received her Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2005. During her tenure at St. Mary's School of Law she: served as secretary for the Texas A&M University Student Bar Association; was a participant in the annual Negotiation Competition; and was a student attorney for the St. Mary's University Immigration Clinic at the Center for Legal and Social Justice.

Ms. Sacra is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.
